About Zachary T. Alden

---

After being honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps in 2020, I was faced with the brutally challenging task of integrating back into society. An overlooked obstacle that Veterans face when their time of service comes to an end.

The added stress of reintegration into a pandemic stricken society made things all the more challenging for myself. Since then, I have focused on my health, ancestry, self education, and in doing so found myself at the crossroads of a liberating, fulfilling, and empowering life.

Holistic Life Paths bridges our ancient roots with modern research through peer reviewed reports, community, and The Gnomon podcast. From love as seen through culture and science to ancient government systems.

HLP serves to provide educational resources to preserves the knowledge that has guided humanity across every civilization and makes it accessible for today.

Rooted in history, grounded in science, built for today.

In late 2025 the DAV heard of my story and reached out. Without hesitation I accepted the offer to be apart of their project. Plant medicine at large, has profound potential for addressing psychological issues when conducted correctly.

I am in support of the right initiatives tackling these matters, it should not be lost on anyone however, the serious cost to culture, peoples, and mental frameworks when conducted without respect and reverence.

During the summer of 2024, I was welcomed into the Shipibo lineage under Maestro "E" in the Amazon Jungle. Now spanning over multiple summers, I've studied and worked with various plants, understanding these life forms as teachers, allies, and medicine.

I do not conduct ceremonies.
